Seventy Inches of Seamless Linear Fire

Nearly Six Feet of Uninterrupted Flame

The Urbana U70 is the widest linear fireplace Urbana builds: a 70" by 20" seamless glass opening with no gaps, no frames and no safety screen required, running 52,500 BTUs at 59.2% efficiency. This build adds adjustable ember bed colour LED lighting and clear glass media over the painted liner, so the fireplace becomes a controllable light feature as well as a heat source. It is the fireplace for great rooms, feature walls and open main floors where the wall itself is the design. Wheatland Fireplace supplies and installs it across Saskatchewan.

FAQ

1. Is the U70 too big for a normal room?
In a standard living room, probably — it is nearly six feet of glass. It belongs in great rooms, open main floors and feature walls. The U50 covers the same idea at a more usual scale.
2. How do the colour LEDs work?
They light the ember bed independently of the flame, with adjustable colour and brightness. The WiFi control operates on a 2.4 GHz connection and will not run on 5.0 GHz.
3. What does it take to install one?
Planning. The rough opening, venting route, power for the LEDs and the finish material all have to be coordinated, ideally before framing. We work with builders on this regularly.
4. How much heat does it give off?
52,500 BTUs at 59.2% efficiency — enough to carry a large open space, though on a fireplace this wide the visual impact is the main event.
5. Do you install outside the cities?
Yes — Wheatland Fireplace delivers and installs across all of Saskatchewan.
