A Traditional Fire in a Contemporary Clean-Face Frame

The U37 with a Log Fire Behind Clean-Face Glass

This build of the Urbana U37 pairs the model's tall 35" x 30" glass and 3D stainless steel burner with a painted steel liner and a traditional log fire, plus the remote — the warm, familiar fire, presented without a single louvre to break the view. It carries 47,000 BTUs and supports both 5" x 8" power venting and 8" x 11" direct venting, so it fits a wide range of walls. Liner upgrades run from black enameled and black glass through brick, herringbone and ledgestone, and the log set can be swapped for birch, driftwood or a river rock set with twigs. Installed across Saskatchewan by Wheatland Fireplace.

FAQ

1. What is included at this price?
The U37 firebox with the painted steel liner, log burner and remote. Liner upgrades, alternative log sets and the Forgeworks face are quoted alongside it.
2. How does this differ from the glass-burner U37?
This one has a log fire over a painted steel liner; the U37GI has a glass burner over black enamel. Identical firebox, output and venting — it is a styling decision.
3. Square or arch firebox?
Both are available. The arch softens what is otherwise a very rectilinear fireplace; it is worth seeing the two side by side before deciding.
4. What kind of heat should I expect?
47,000 BTUs of largely radiant heat through a big single pane. Urbana publishes 36.6% efficiency for this model — it is a statement fireplace, not a furnace replacement.
5. Who plans the venting?
We do. Wheatland Fireplace confirms the vent route, clearances and framing before anything is ordered, anywhere in Saskatchewan.
