1. How do the colour LEDs work?
They light the ember bed independently of the flame, with adjustable colour and brightness. Note the WiFi control runs on a 2.4 GHz connection and will not operate on 5.0 GHz.
2. What does a three-sided fireplace let me do?
Divide space rather than fill a wall — between a kitchen and living room, at the end of an island, or as a peninsula. It is a floor-plan decision, best made before framing.
3. Is a safety screen needed?
No. Double glass keeps the outer pane cool enough that no screen is required, which is what keeps the view uninterrupted.
4. How much heat does it give?
22,500 BTUs at 65.9% efficiency behind a 30" W x 20" H glass area. The U30 is about presence more than raw output.
5. When should you be involved in my build?
As early as possible — three-sided units affect framing, venting and finishes, and all three are cheaper to solve on paper.
