Alterra Pro — The Largest Regency Wood Insert

The Regency Alterra Pro i3000 from Wheatland Fireplace is the largest and most capable wood insert Regency builds. A 3.0 cu. ft. firebox takes 20 inch logs and produces up to 85,000 BTU/hr at 78% efficiency, holding a burn up to 20 hours while emitting only 0.95 g/hr. The viewing area is enormous at 300 sq. in. — this is a fireplace you watch as well as heat with. Choose the arched or rectangular face to suit your room. For a large Saskatchewan home or acreage where wood is the main heat source, it's the insert to beat. Measured, lined, and installed province-wide by Wheatland Fireplace.

FAQ

1. What's the difference between the arched and rectangular versions?
Only the face styling — i3000A is arched, i3000R is rectangular. Same firebox, same performance, same price. Choose whichever suits your fireplace and room.
2. What opening does the i3000 need?
A minimum of 30 1/2 in. wide, 24 in. high, and 19 in. deep — a large masonry fireplace. We measure carefully before quoting.
3. Can it be a primary heat source?
Yes — 85,000 BTU/hr with 20 hour burns is why acreage owners and large-home owners choose it.
4. How big is the viewing area really?
300 sq. in. — roughly double a typical small insert, so it reads much more like an open fire.
5. Does Wheatland Fireplace install inserts this large?
Yes — our teams handle the chimney assessment, liner, insert, and finishing throughout Saskatchewan.
