1. How is the i1500 different from the i1150?
Same compact fit, but the i1500's hybrid catalytic system raises efficiency from 71% to 78%, drops emissions to 1 g/hr, and adds two hours of burn time. You burn less wood for more heat.
2. What opening does it need?
A minimum of 23 in. wide, 19 in. high, and 13 3/4 in. deep. We measure before quoting.
3. Does the catalyst need maintenance?
It needs periodic inspection and eventual replacement, and Regency covers the original catalyst 100% for 10 years. The onboard thermometer shows when it's working properly.
4. Is it EPA certified?
