Small Hybrid-Catalytic Stove — Cleaner, Longer Burns

The Regency Cascades F1500 from Wheatland Fireplace packs Hybrid-Catalytic triple burn technology into a small stove footprint. That technology is why it reaches 78% efficiency and just 1 g/hr of emissions — among the cleanest small wood stoves available — while stretching a single load of firewood up to 10 hours. An easy-to-read catalytic thermometer takes the guesswork out of hitting those numbers. For a Saskatoon or Regina home, a cabin, or an acreage where you're cutting your own wood, that efficiency means fewer trips to the woodpile all winter. Installed across Saskatchewan by Wheatland Fireplace.

FAQ

1. What does Hybrid-Catalytic mean?
It combines catalytic and non-catalytic (secondary air) combustion, burning the smoke twice. The result on the F1500 is 78% efficiency and 1 g/hr emissions from a small stove.
2. How long will one load burn?
Up to 10 hours — enough to load before bed and still have coals in the morning through a Saskatchewan cold snap.
3. Does the catalyst need maintenance?
It needs periodic inspection and eventually replacement. The built-in thermometer tells you when the stove is in its efficient range, and we'll walk you through the upkeep.
4. Is it EPA certified?
Yes — 2020 EPA certified, which matters both for clean burning and for insurance and permitting in many Saskatchewan municipalities.
5. Who handles installation?
Wheatland Fireplace — stove, chimney, hearth protection, and clearances, province-wide.
