The G42 Log Burner — Classic Fire, Modern Clean Face

This build of the Enviro G42 Gas Fireplace puts a traditional log set and adjustable ember bed lighting behind a clean, louvre-free face — the warm, familiar fire people picture, presented in a contemporary frame. It runs 40,000 BTUs at 69.6% P4 efficiency for roughly 2,000 square feet, and includes the ember light kit, painted liner, Slim Face in black, the Cool Surface System, the Run-Quiet fan and the remote. The ember lights stay on with the flame off, so the fireplace still reads as a fireplace in July. Supplied and installed by Wheatland Fireplace across Saskatchewan.

1. What does adjustable ember bed lighting actually do?
It lights the fire bed independently of the flame, so you can run a warm glow year-round or brighten the ember effect when the fire is on. It is one of the nicest touches in the G Series.
2. How is this different from the G42 glass burner?
Same firebox and same output — this one has a log set with ember lighting and a painted liner instead of a glass burner over black enamel. Traditional versus contemporary.
3. Can I put a TV above it?
Yes, with the included Cool Surface System keeping the wall above the opening cool. We confirm your exact wall build at quote time.
4. Is the fan noisy?
Enviro's Run-Quiet fan system is one of the quieter 130 CFM blowers we sell — noticeable at full speed, unobtrusive at the settings most people actually use.
