The Biggest Enviro Insert — 42,000 BTUs, 200 CFM

Maximum Insert Heat for a Large Masonry Fireplace

The Enviro E44 Gas Insert is the largest in the line: a 29 3/8" x 21 1/8" view, 42,000 BTUs, a 200 CFM fan, and coverage for roughly 2,300 square feet. It is built for the big old masonry fireplaces in character homes — it needs 34 1/2" W x 24" H with 20 3/4" to 21 3/4" of depth — and it turns them from a hole that loses heat into the hardest-working appliance on the floor. IPI electronic ignition, remote, fan and steel liner are included; the log set is ordered separately. Measured and installed across Saskatchewan by Wheatland Fireplace.

FAQ

1. What opening does the E44 need?
34 1/2" W x 24" H, with a depth between 20 3/4" and 21 3/4" — a genuinely large fireplace. Wheatland Fireplace measures before quoting.
2. Will it heat more than one room?
Rated for about 2,300 square feet, with a 200 CFM fan behind it, it will push heat well beyond the room it sits in — especially in an open plan.
3. Why is the efficiency lower than the E30?
Big firebox, big glass: the E44 is rated at 58.49% P4. You trade some efficiency for output and view. If efficiency is the priority, look at the EX32 or EX35.
4. Is the log set included?
No — log sets are ordered separately for this configuration, so you can pick the fire bed. We quote it with the insert.
5. Can my chimney handle it?
That is part of our site check. We confirm the flue, the liner run and the clearances before anything is ordered.
