This build of the Enviro E30 Gas Insert replaces the log set with a glass burner and black enameled liner — a contemporary fire bed dropped into an existing masonry opening, which is one of the quickest ways to modernize a dated Saskatoon or Regina living room. It runs 33,000 BTUs at 71.4% P4 efficiency for roughly 1,700 square feet, with IPI electronic ignition, the 150 CFM fan and remote all included. No standing pilot, no louvers, and no reminder of the drafty fireplace it replaced. Measured and installed province-wide by Wheatland Fireplace.

1. Can a modern glass fire really go in an old brick fireplace?
That is exactly what this configuration is for. The insert seals the old opening, the surround covers the masonry, and what you see is a contemporary glass fire bed.
2. What opening do I need?
27 7/8" W x 19 7/8" H, with a depth between 16 7/16" and 18 5/8". Wheatland Fireplace measures before quoting.
3. Is the LP conversion kit included?
Not with this configuration — it is ordered separately if you are on propane. We flag it in the quote for rural installs.
4. How does it compare to the log version?
Same firebox, same 33,000 BTUs and 71.4% efficiency. This one has the glass burner and black enameled liner; the E30I-S3 has a steel liner and takes a log set.
5. Do you finish the surround and trim?
Yes — the insert, surround, liner and finishing are all part of a Wheatland Fireplace installation, anywhere in Saskatchewan.
