Traditional Log Insert with the Surround Included

A Straightforward, Well-Priced Fireplace Upgrade

The Enviro E25 Gas Insert is the value pick of the Enviro insert line: 28,000 BTUs, about 1,600 square feet of coverage, a traditional log set and — unusually — the surround included in the price. This is the millivolt (Nova) build with a standing pilot and LP conversion kit, so it keeps burning when the power goes out. The E25 needs no liner to look finished, and its shallow 13 15/16" to 14 15/16" depth range suits older fireboxes that will not take a deeper insert. Measured and installed across Saskatchewan by Wheatland Fireplace.

Features

  • Surround Included: The E25 surround (39" W x 25 3/4" H) is part of this package, not an extra.

FAQ

1. What size opening does the E25 need?
Install dimensions are 27 7/8" W x 19 3/4" H, with a depth range of 13 15/16" to 14 15/16". Its shallow depth is the reason it fits fireboxes that reject other inserts.
2. Is a fan included?
Not with this millivolt version — a convection fan is available for the Nova build, and it is included with the IPI version (E25I). We will quote whichever you prefer.
3. Do I need a liner behind the logs?
No. Enviro designs the E25 so a liner is not required, which keeps the total cost down. A brick liner is available if you want the texture.
4. Will it heat during a power failure?
Yes — a standing pilot and millivolt valve mean no electricity is required for the fire itself. Only the optional fan needs power.
5. How much space will it heat?
About 1,600 square feet at 28,000 BTUs — a solid main-floor heater in most Saskatoon and Regina homes.
