Electronic Ignition, Fan and Surround Included

The E25 with Electronic Ignition, Remote and Fan

This is the fully equipped build of the Enviro E25 Gas Insert: IPI electronic ignition, remote, convection fan, traditional log set and the surround, all included. It puts 28,000 BTUs and roughly 1,600 square feet of heating capacity into an existing masonry fireplace with a shallow 13 15/16" to 14 15/16" depth requirement, which is why it fits older Saskatchewan fireboxes that deeper inserts cannot. No standing pilot burning gas all summer, no liner required, and the fan is there to actually move the heat. Measured, supplied and installed province-wide by Wheatland Fireplace.

1. What is the difference between the E25 and E25I?
The E25I has electronic ignition, a remote and the convection fan included; the plain E25 is the millivolt standing-pilot build. The E25I costs more up front and saves the pilot gas.
2. What opening does it need?
27 7/8" W x 19 3/4" H with a depth between 13 15/16" and 14 15/16". Wheatland Fireplace measures before quoting.
3. Does the fan run all the time?
No — it is controlled, and most people run it only when the fire has warmed up. It is what turns 28,000 BTUs of radiant heat into a warm room rather than a warm hearth.
4. Can it run on propane?
Yes, with the appropriate LP conversion kit, which we quote with the unit for acreage and lake properties.
5. How disruptive is the installation?
One day in most cases: liner down the chimney, insert in, surround fitted, gas connected and tested. Our teams cover all of Saskatchewan.
