40,000 BTUs of Cast Iron Warmth in Antique Chestnut

The Berkeley in Antique Chestnut — Traditional Cast Iron, Serious Output

The Enviro Berkeley is the largest freestanding cast iron stove Enviro builds: 40,000 BTUs, 66.6% P4 efficiency, and roughly 2,000 square feet of heating capacity from a 30" W x 31" H x 23" D body. This is the Antique Chestnut finish — a warm, mottled enamel that suits character homes, cabins and anywhere a black stove would look too severe. The package includes the SIT IPI split-flow ceramic burner, log set, fluted liner, fan and remote. A freestanding stove needs no masonry fireplace, which is why it is often the answer for additions, cabins and basements. Installed across Saskatchewan by Wheatland Fireplace.

FAQ

1. Do I need a fireplace to install a Berkeley?
No — a freestanding stove vents through its own direct-vent run, so it can go in an addition, a cabin, a basement or anywhere the venting can be routed. That flexibility is the main reason people choose a stove.
2. How does Antique Chestnut differ from Painted Black?
It is an enamel finish with warmth and depth rather than a flat black paint. It costs more, and in a character home or cabin it is usually worth it. Come see both in the showroom.
3. Will it heat a whole cabin?
At 40,000 BTUs and roughly 2,000 square feet, in most Saskatchewan cabins yes — and the cast iron mass keeps radiating well after the burner drops.
4. Can it run on propane?
Yes, with the NG to LP conversion kit — a common order for lake and acreage properties. We quote it with the stove.
5. How far from the wall does it have to sit?
That depends on the venting configuration and finish materials. We confirm clearances on site before install.
