40,000 BTUs of Cast Iron Warmth in Painted Black

The Berkeley — Enviro's Largest Cast Iron Stove

The Enviro Berkeley is the biggest freestanding cast iron stove in the Enviro line: 40,000 BTUs, 66.6% P4 efficiency, and roughly 2,000 square feet of heating capacity from a 30" W x 31" H x 23" D body finished in painted black. The SIT IPI split-flow ceramic burner gives it a fuller, more natural flame than a conventional burner, framed by a fluted liner behind a Clear View safety screen, and the log set, fan and remote are included. A freestanding stove needs no masonry fireplace, which is why it is so often the answer for additions, cabins and basements. Installed across Saskatchewan by Wheatland Fireplace.

FAQ

1. Do I need a fireplace to install one?
No — a freestanding stove vents through its own direct-vent run, so it can go in an addition, cabin, basement or anywhere the venting can be routed.
2. Will it heat a whole cabin?
At 40,000 BTUs and roughly 2,000 square feet, in most Saskatchewan cabins yes — and the cast iron keeps radiating long after the burner drops.
3. Is there another finish?
Yes — the Berkeley is also built in Antique Chestnut, a warmer mottled enamel. Both are the same stove underneath.
4. Can it run on propane?
Yes, with the NG to LP conversion kit — a common order for lake and acreage properties.
5. What clearances does it need?
That depends on the venting configuration and finish materials. We confirm on site before installation.
